Timperley 5XI 7 - Bowdon Killer Bee's 2

Not one of the Bees better performances in a match that Timperley won easily. Although in terms of posession the game was more even, for much of the game the Bees attacking was ineffective. Timperley on the other hand made the most of their attacking opportunities helped by an almost complete lack of defence except for Andy Warnes, and a poor performance in goal by Phil. At one point a young Timperley stick wizzard was running two of the bees defence a merry dance (you know who I mean Olly - Yeah, you mean me, you bastard - Ed) with the rest of the Bees team watching in amazement.

The first half saw The Bees down 2 nil but two quick goals at the start of the second half finished the game. Timperly were given an age in the D to tee up shots at will. However it was not all doom and gloom and a couple of goals by the Bees from Mossy and ? lifted spirits but Timperly were not finished.

In summary we lacked a killer instinct up front, the midfield were lacking and the defence stretched, besides that everything was fine.

Hope this isn't too negative but I tell it how I see it... (At this point, if you played in the above game & you've just read Phil's match report, you may like to click here - Ed)
