Urmston 2 - Bowdon Killer Bees 1

The Bees trooped on to the Urmston with not a single great haircut in sight, and coincidentally without their glorious leader either (Hey, who's writing this? - Rhetorical Ed). This surely explains their narrow defeat at the hands of Urmston, despite Bowdon, as Yokker so charmingly put it, being all over them 'like a rash'.

A late goal by the home side tipped the game in their favour, and the Bees left the pitch feeling a tad hardly done by. At this point words escape me. I feel unable to go on. Not, as you may imagine, because I am choked by the recollection of the dejected faces of team mates, but because, at the time, I was several hundred miles away indulging in some pre-gig drinking in London .

So, if any of the lazy-arses who actually played in this game care to write a match report explaining themselevs then I'll publish it! In the meantime, all I can say is that we would've won if I'd have been playing!

Tee Hee.
