Bowdon Killer Bees 1 - 3 Deeside

With our glorious leader still sunning himself in the Carribean the reigns were passed onto Yokker. After a disppointing result the week before it was hoped that a return to the Bees preferred playing surface would produce a better result. Unfortunately Deeside had other ideas, these included a new tactic of not arriving on the pitch until fifteen minutes after the allotted start time. (Hmm, sounds like the sort of thing a pedantic fixtures secretary would pick up on - Sherlock Ed)

My memory is a bit hazy as to what actually happened apart fom it being a game of two halves one of which included two goals from Deeside & the Bees forwards being unable to convert the few chances that were created. The second half resulted in the Bees piling on the pressure and scoring (This was Yokker I believe? It's the only scoring he's been doing lately, despite the abundance of sozzled, compliant ladies in Barbados. Tsk! - Gossip Ed). It looked like we would equalise but were cruely robbed when Reidy ended up pulling a muscle & being left stranded by his defence when Deeside walked the ball into the net for their third goal of the day.

Bamber

(Double bummer. Bit of a shocker the defence leaving the keeper stranded, eh? Now in my day... - Even more suntanned Ed)
